The switch is also newly equipped with a watchdog feature. If no traffic is detected on the Ethernet for approximately 1 minute while power is actively being drawn, the power supply voltage is interrupted, causing the connected device to reboot. The switch automatically balances the power for each port according to the power consumption of the device.
