Solar photovoltaic water heating kit/system

The kit contains the Czech-made MR4316AC NG controller, which optimizes the resistance of the heating coil of the boiler and the photovoltaic panels so that the energy obtained from the panels is maximized. It is connected between the solar panel and the boiler heating coil. The output voltage is AC, so the controller can also be used with a conventional boiler and heating coil for AC voltage. The input voltage can be from 60 to 430 V. Only appliances with a purely resistive character (boiler, underfloor heating, direct heater without fan, infrared heater, etc.) with an input of up to 4000 W can be connected to the output (but the maximum output current of 16 A must not be exceeded).
The controller uses a new method of active search for the optimum operating point (MPPT in case the PV panels do not have the same characteristics, rated power, their temperature changes or they are not evenly illuminated) when powering the boiler. The 6 LEDs on the front panel are used to indicate the current power supply. The controller has a second DC output to which power is automatically redirected (without any other intervention) from the panels if the boiler is disconnected at the AC output.
The controller can operate in 4 modes of operation, which are described in the following text or instructions. Using a button on the controller board, eight parameters can be stored in the processor memory: maximum output voltage, panel testing period, boiler connection testing period at the output, mode of operation, I2C address of the controller, nominal load power, heated water volume and minimum heating temperature.
Note: The controller uses pulse-width modulation, which may produce a low hum from the heating coil in the boiler that could disturb the quiet of the room in which the boiler is located.
