The active battery balancer is designed for 4 to 17 lithium (LiFePO4 and Li-ion) batteries with 3,2 V and 3,7 V respectively, which are connected in series to maintain the voltage balance between the batteries. The balancing current increases by approximately 1,2 A for every 0,1 V of differential voltage. Due to the way the batteries are connected (the connector cannot be easily removed), the balancer is designed to be fixed and installed together with the batteries.
Notice:
In case of incorrect wiring (reverse polarity) the balancer will be destroyed.
