The UniFi Switch (USW-Pro-Max-48-PoE) is ideal for small and medium-sized businesses that require a reliable L3 managed switch in a professional 1U rack-mountable design. Build your network with the Ubiquiti Networks UniFi Switch series. The UniFi Switch Pro Max 48 PoE is a highly efficient, fully gigabit PoE switch from the well-known manufacturer Ubiquiti in the UniFi series, which also features a 1.3" touch LCM display for easy control. Additionally, it provides RPS DC input for redundant power in case of primary power failure.
One of the major advantages of this switch is the support for IEEE 802.3at/bt PoE on each port (16× PoE++ and 32× PoE+) to power various devices. By default, the UniFi Switch automatically detects 802.3at/bt on the connected device, allowing the device to automatically receive PoE. The device also features ports with Etherlighting backlighting indicating port location, speed/link, and native VLAN/network (for optimal brightness, use UniFi Etherlighting cables).
The configuration and management of UniFi devices is enabled by the UniFi Network application, which is pre-installed on UniFi OS consoles (UniFi Dream Machine, Dream Router, Dream Wall, Express, Cloud Gateway Ultra, etc.). An alternative is the freely available UniFi Network Server software, designed for installation on your own computer or server (Windows, MacOS, Linux). The UniFi Network Server software is continuously improved, and therefore we always recommend using the latest version, which can be downloaded from the Ubiquiti website in the Download section.
