The device has an integrated list of common DoS attacks, making protection against them easier than ever. Access control features (ACL, L2 to L4) also restrict access to sensitive parts of the network by rejecting packets based on source and destination MAC addresses, IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports, or VLAN ID. User access to the network can be monitored using 802.1X authentication, which works with a RADIUS/TACACS+ server to provide access only to users with valid credentials.
