The GWL ZJK125 switch is a manually operated device with an over-center spring mechanism that ensures instantaneous opening and closing of the main contacts. It is suitable as a safety disconnect for LiFePO4 batteries up to 48 V. It can be used for safety control of a contactor or any other high-current switch.
It is designed to allow quick disconnection of batteries or other power sources in case of serious electrical faults. The switches are primarily intended for use with battery-powered vehicles but are also suitable for use with static power systems. All types are capable of safely interrupting currents at full battery load in case of emergency.
When connecting the main terminals, it is necessary to observe the polarity indicated on the contact cover. Ensure that the switches are installed in such a position that heavy arcs emanating from the switch cannot damage or electrically jump to neighboring parts. The switch should be used to interrupt the current in case of emergency or as a load disconnect.
